GSSSB has released Advertisement No. 465/202627 for 84 Food Safety Officer, Class-3 posts under the Commissioner, Food and Drug Regulatory Administration (Health & Family Welfare Department, Gujarat). Apply online on OJAS from 27 October 2026 (6:00 PM) to 10 November 2026 (11:59 PM).
A simple plan based on the official exam pattern.
Apply on OJAS by 10 Nov 2026 and pay the fee by 13 Nov 2026. Your degree, age and certificates are counted as on 10/11/2026.
Part B carries 120 of the 210 marks. Build a strong base in the FSS Act 2006, FSSAI regulations, food chemistry, microbiology and food technology.
You need at least 40% in Part A as well as Part B. Practise reasoning, data interpretation and maths regularly, and follow current affairs.
Part A includes Gujarati and English comprehension along with the Constitution of India and current affairs.
The exam is CBRT/OMR with ¼ negative marking. Attempt sectional and full-length tests in 180 minutes and avoid blind guessing.
Review every test, note weak topics and revise from the course PDFs until the exam.
